The Solidarity for African Women’s Rights (SOAWR) Coalition will be holding a PUBLIC FORUM on the theme: “Breathing Life into AU Protocol on the Rights of Women in Africa on the eve of the 5th Anniversary of its Entry into Force”. One activity during the Forum will be the screening of a Video Documentary of the EA Caravan on Maternal Health.

On the occasion of the 10th Lamu Cultural Festival, the Embassy of Spain has invited the Ensemble Andalusí de Tetuán for a performance in Lamu followed by another in Nairobi.
After its participation in the 10th Lamu Cultural Festival, the group Ensemble Andalusí de Tetuán will enchant the audience with this concert of Spanish medieval music, traditional Sufi songs and music from the Arab Mediterranean.
The musicians include Youssef el Husseini (lute and voice), Aziz Samsaoui (Kanun), Fathi Ben Yakoub (viola and violin) and Muhsen Kouraich (percussion).
