Exhibition: Seats of Power by William Wambugu, Sept. 28-Oct. 12 2012 @ Kuona Trust

Kuona Trust in collaboration with Roots Contemporary invites you to
the ‘SEATS OF POWER’ exhibition by William Wambugu on Friday the 28th of September 2012.
In a time where our attention is focused on the forth coming general
election – with inequality and scrabbling for power, William uses the nostalgic memories of his childhood to express the changes he
experiences in the “New Kenya”.
He carefully draws each of the items not to be forgotten by future generations.
The representation is delicate and simple and at the same time, it has strength and great creativity.
Exhibition Opens: Friday 28th September and runs until Friday 12th October 2012.
