Dance: Choreographic Conversations Contemporary Dance Performance, Sept. 5 2015 @ the GoDown Arts Centre

Choreographic Conversations will stage two contemporary dances touching on human emotions and societal issues on September 5, 2015 at the Godown Arts Centre.

In performance will be Sisi Dance Company the dynamic duo of Vincent Owoko and Tony Ochieng with ‘Within’ a performance that explores the struggle between fear and bravery. Spoken word artist Betty Bagbo colourfully illustrates the piece with her voice and words, with artistic direction from Neema Bagamuhunda.
Joining the duo will be Juliette Omolo who has been on the contemporary dance scene for close to two decades presenting ‘Flower Times’. Juliette explores the joys and triumphs of outstanding women in society. She draws her inspiration from renowned icons such as Wangu waMakeri, Cleopatra, Makeba, Queen of Sheba and Ethiopian Empress Candace infusing their experiences and those around her.
