Inés Basombrío is an Argentinian singer, songwriter and guitarist living in Kenya since 2014. She is set to launch her 2nd album, ‘Piel de Arena’ (Sand Skin), reflecting on a woman’s connection with the elements, with nature and with man; as felt and sensed throgh the skin. She will be joined by Kenyan musicians, Eddie Grey (jazz guitarist and composer) and Tetu Shani (percussionist) and guest artist Ritah Khatushi.Inès studied music in Conservatoires in Brazil, Germany and Argentina (Manuel Falla Conservatoire). It is in Montevideo, Uruguay, where she lived for 10 yrs, that she found the real inspiration to publish her two albums..

A wall can be seen as a tool to defend, but also to divide. It is something to expose and reveal, and yet, at the same time to limit and discriminate. Walls which were once there to gate us from the rest of the world have lost their relevance. Today, we see culture and knowledge traversing invisible walls to form fruitful global collaborations.Invisible wall is an interactive light-sound-physical art installation, created by current Kuona Trust artists in residence, Lena Pozdnyakova andEldar Tagi who make up the Zwo.
The exhibition purposes to offer a different type of spatial experience where the audience becomes part of the installation and process of creation through interactive action.
