About THE SOIL
Soweto born members of The Soil met in high school during music sessions as members of a group then known as Particles of the Soil. As years passed many members departed due to other engagements. Its was 2010, that the two brothers Luphindo and Nzinga Ngxanga vocalist Buhle Mda decided to record their first self titled album as a trio. By 2011 their album had gone platinum in South Africa. Their second album Nostalgic Moments was released digitally on iTunes on 15 September 2014. The album includes guest appearances by the Grammy award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo and multiple award-winning rapper Khuli Chana. This album also went platinum.
