About
Allan Simba holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Kenyatta University. His work is a result of continuous experimentation. He uses an eclectic mix of techniques distilled into a style referred to as ‘furism’. This was coined by the French curator, Floréal Duran, to describe Allan’s art as influenced by the fury of living.
The artworks in ‘Exodus’ are a conceptual observation of the world in flux. The constantly changing view of ourselves, having to understand and re-understand us and our interaction with our environment. The works symbolize the ephemeral nature of our views.
