Fena, Serro, Suzziah, Gravitti band and Juliani are set to headline the Form Ni Diva music concert by the Form Ni Gani Movement by Kenyan creatives this Sunday, 17th June 2018 at Alliance Francaise from 2 PM – 10 PM.

Also performing will be Wen, Zikki, and poets: Spontaneous the Poet, Qui Qarre and Teardrops.

Hosted by Cindy Ogana, this is the second concert organized by Form Ni Gani Kenya – to create awareness and encourage Kenyans to hold free and open conversations regarding Family Planning.
The concert is especially targeted to sensitize women on issues around Family Planning.

The Polka Dot Gallery is excited to be working on Anne Mwitis Second Solo Exhibition at our gallery.

Anne Mwiti is a contemporary/Expressionist artist living in Nairobi, Kenya. She also doubles as a lecturer at the Department of Fine Art and Design, Kenyatta University.

Anne’s paintings are creations influenced by the contemporary world around her of people, cultures, and environment where she draws her inspirations. Her latest collection of work titled ‘Different Brush Strokes’ explores people and places close to her. Her time on the Nile, the view from her home and even a little painting of our very own Polka Dot Gallery.

Anne has been on our top list of artists over the last two years, her unique style and her affordable prices are popular with everyone.

The Nairobi Orchestra present the JUNE CONCERTS. For those who attended the March concerts, you will notice more Rachmaninov, but also a Kenyan composer’s arrangement of Malaika as well as a lesser known trumpet concerto by Hummel.

Finally, we finish with Beethoven’s landmark ‘Pastoral’ symphony.

The workshop supports photographers who are looking to develop their skills in covering night events and is geared for Non professional photographers (basic photography knowledge).

Fredrick Ochieng Bio
Fredrick Ochieng started photography when he was only 9 years old. His photography focuses on events, still life, sport and nature. In 2010, he won the Best Photographer Award at the International Human Rights Festival “What Kids Can Do International photography”. Since 2014, he has been active in media development by doing lectures in photography in different Universities, Colleges and Community Media Centres in Kenya. He spent more than four years as an event photographer and spent two years at The Alchemist Bar as the official photographer. Currently he is the DOP of Cultural Video Production and The Nrb Bus.
Also, he is the co-founder of SEMA Youth Festival; an event that involves participatory workshops in video-making, to enable young filmmakers in the region to learn, create and connect.

The workshop is offered free of charge, and only 10 participants will be selected.
