About the Show
Line of Inquiry: Sediments of Self is the product of Boniface Maina’s own self-psychoanalysis. He explores the conflict within himself, which has over the years produced artwork that while beautiful, has had elements of melancholy.In this body of work, Maina breaks through his self, uncovering layers of his personality through questioning. He directs ink and pen on paper to create very intimate and personal pieces.
It is by far his most honest work yet.
