About After taking a 5 year break from sculpture, he wished to revisit this medium and find new approaches. In these new works, recycled wood is used as a foundation on which he adds disparate materials, merging them seamlessly to create a sense of harmony. Muraguri’s combination of his chosen media seems effortless, as though all the parts have grown up together and are natural extensions of one other.
