The Ngong Trail Run is a naturalistic and wild race organized by World Friends meandering around the undulating landscapes of Ngong on an average altitude of 2100 meters. The income coming from the sponsor and from the registration fees will be used to cover the running cost of the trail run.
The proceeds will be used for the implementation of the European Union funded project Mother and Child Health in Kajado.

A bank robbery has been staged but the getaway car fails to pick up the robbers who then commandeer a taxi. In a twist of fate, the taxi is involved in an accident. And in the ensuing confusion, the money is stolen by unknown people.Working in cahoots with a crooked cop (played by Janet Kirina), the thugs suspect a taxi driver (played by Nick Ndeda) stole their loot and pursue him only to get sucked into his mysterious life involving two complicated neighbours (played Maina Olwenya and Xavier Nato) and his two very uniquely different wives (played by Nice Githinji and Hellena Waithera).
In the spiraling chaos of deceit, false identity and manic cover-up that ensues, an overzealous police constable (Umi Rajab) fresh from Kiganjo on her first assignment jumps into the frying pan bringing hilarity to new levels.

About
William, Evanson and Ray are 3 artists using very different media. They represent the wide diversity of the upcoming Kenyan scene.
William is a conceptual artist who works with ink on paper. He’s presenting the installation of old scrap books “Hamsini-Fifty” shown at the Goethe Institute last year. As usual his work is the reflection of an evolving society who he analyses and categorizes like an anthropologist.
Ray is a new young photographer who creates images of a great depth. In this series of works, he depicts Kenyan and South African women with the weight of the world that surrounds them. Although he is new on the Kenyan art scene, he has already won several prizes-World Bank, Nikon- and a scholarship in South Africa. Thanks to his perseverance he has managed to transform his hard working childhood into a successful story.
Evanson on the other hand is an artist of the “Old generation” who has managed to evolve and diversify. The works chosen for this exhibition are drawings of everyday life in Nairobi with a trivial sense of humor.All 3 have in common their passion for work and have chosen art as a way of life. They have a humble approach that gives them strengths, power and independence.

Sauti Ya Mitaa: Workshop and Album Launch, Sept. 11 & 12 2014 @ Pawa 254 Hub
Over 20 artists from all over Nairobi representing neo soul, reggae, afro-fusion, hip-hop and spoken word and 20 youths in a choreographed dance show, invites you to an evening full of music, dance and extra ordinary talents.
Sauti ya Mitaa is a unique project, bringing 21 musicians of different genre of music, representing various suburbs and social classes together. It brings out their unique talents and at the same time create awareness about issues affecting them and the society. The Sauti Ya Mitaa album, including 4 beats, 4 genres of music, spoken word and 21 artists, backed by Iklektik band, will be launched on the 12th of September at Pawa254.
Masonko wa Dandora is a choreographed dance show that aims entertain the audience as well as uplift the self-esteem of the youths in Dandora and other similar slums. The dance show shows the struggles and the strengths of the youths in marginalized communities. The group will launch their latest dance show at the event on the 12th of September.
Paza Sauti Workshop
Arts development and community empowerment, a workshop for local artists and activists. The workshop will take place the day before the launch of Sauti ya Mitaa and Masonko wa Dandora launch.
