Winner of the 2019 Radio France Internationale Discovery Award, the Congolese singer, Céline Banza, will be in Nairobi as part of her African tour prize with her 5-man band.
Céline Banza sings folk-inspired ballads in Ngbandi, a language spoken in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo. She studied musicology at the National Institute of Arts in Kinshasa and is working on her debut album to be released later this year.
