The OUT Film Festival takes place for the second time in Kenya. The film festival not only wants to celebrate queer cinema, but to make known to Kenya that a community that the general society deems secret exists. The festival promises another selection of films and documentaries from the region, continent and globe.
The OUT Film Festival is about celebrating life’s challenges, love and diversity. It continues to carry forward the message of Ubuntu.

Pawa254 invites you to a citizen Journalism training workshop from 14th-16th November 2012 from 0900hrs-1300hrs at PAWA254 hub in Nairobi.
Day One will give participants an overview of the Journalism Code, Day Two will cover fundamental ethical topics in detail and Day Three will cover in detail all aspects of professional reporting under the title of Accuracy and Fairness.
At the end of this training, participants are expected to write or record stories that deeply observe all tenets of professionalism in journalism.

The creativez are hosting the first ever, virtual continental collaborative Afrika Eye Film Festival discussion this Friday evening at iHub with our friends African Interactive in Bristol -UK all on Film and Digital Media The theme is The Moving Image
Other than discuss how Digital can expand the audience for the African moving image we will also explore new forms of film production, funding, distribution models and opportunities on collaborative projects between Kenyan and British film makers. All this will happen in a Unique format-depending on where you are on today we -the audience will get to interact with both panels in Bristol and in Nairobi’s iHub via an intergrated weblink
