Les Métanuits is an adaptation for saxophone and piano of ‘Les Métamorphoses Nocturnes’, the string quartet by the Hungarian composer, György Ligeti. It is a wonderful work of improvisation, reinventing the original score yet remaining true to the powerful rhythmic textures, by the pianist and composer, Roberto Negro and the saxophonist and jazz composer, Emile Parisien. Both the musicians are Winners of the prestigious French Jazz Awards ‘Victoires du Jazz’.

Roberto’s versatility and Emile’s virtuosity will offer a thrilling evening of jazz.

Kenyan songbird and guitarist, Nina Ogot, launches her third album ‘Dala’ which she recorded in Germany backed by a 15-piece band comprising of a full horn section.

Nina will be joined on stage by these musicians from Germany. The album blends Kenyan musical traditions with upbeat African and Western sounds offering a rich and colourful musical palette.
