News: New TV Show-Michakato Majimboni, Every Thursday at 9.45pm on KBC TV

Media Focus on Africa (MFA) has the pleasure of informing you of their new show Michakato which premiered on April 26, 2012 on KBC TV. This is a different kind of TV Talk Show being a joint MFA and KBC television production. It addresses issues of leadership in select counties.

Watch this show on KBC TV every Thursday at 9.45pm.

Michakato Majimboni does not take the form of regular talk shows that are based on “ask the experts” model as it will has no panelists. They level the ground because they believe we are the ‘experts’ of the issues in our region, and inborn solutions are what will make real and lasting change.

And there is more to this cutting-edge, lively and most important; informative, inspiring and cross generational show. Attached is a more detailed write-up.

Brief – Leadership Campaign, Michakato Majimboni

Make it a date with them every Thursday night!

Mondial Cabaret – French style cabaret, May 4 2012 @ Alliance Francaise

A typical French style of popular entertainment, cabaret began in France at the beginning of the 19th century. It is a variety entertainment that typically includes music, dance, comedy, and short theatrical pieces, and easily captures the public’s fascination with the diversity of sketches stretching the limits of one’s imagination.

Mondial Cabaret is performed by Olivier Denizet and Christophe Gloeckner. It uses traditions of popular cabaret to confront contemporary realities.

The duo will keep the audiences gripped with the unfolding scenes of the highs and lows in a couple’s life played out on stage through a series of funny and moving scenes, often with an expected twist.
