Classical Evenings Club is back with a wonderful evening of music from ‘Zeze’, a string ensemble bringing together Nairobi’s best string players. They will be performing music by various composers including Haydn, Paganini, Strauss to name a few. There will also be a guest appearance by the pianist Annale Whitehead.
The next Autism Awareness Kenya meeting will be this Saturday, March 10th from 1-4. We are gearing up for our big autism awareness event the weekend of March 30 – April 1st. We need everyone’s input and help to make it a great event. Please come with ideas for planning!
We meet at Braeburn Primary School on Gitanga Road. Take bus # 46 towards Kawangware and alight at the school. You will see a big banner and just tell the askari that you are there for an Autism Awareness Meeting. If you are driving, just park in the parking lot. We meet in the Early Years Unit.

Pawa254 Hub is proud to host Abraham Ali, a Kenyan based Video Documentary maker and photographer. He has a strong foundation in story telling through Documentary and Photography skills acquired whilst working for various News, governmental and Non- governmental organizations.
With more than eighteen years experience in the industry, Abraham has worked with many NGO’s and Corporates such as UNHCR, CIMMYT, ICRISAT, Free The Children (Canada),Shell petroleum Development Company – Nigeria, Kenya Airways, Cooperative bank Foundation, Tononoka Steel, and Media houses such as CNN, ZDF, BBC, Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Networks (USA), to name a few.
He has mounted several exhibitions with the most recent two being in New York’s Africa House, and a Lamu story at the Nairobi National Museum.

The Sunday Fix is a new electro/house music event which will be held on the second Sunday of every month from 3-9pm with all proceeds going to Kenya Children’s Homes/Thomas Barnardo House orphanage, Langata Rd.
The idea is for young music lovers – to bring good quality house music to Nairobi with acclaimed local and international DJs but with all proceeds going to the home. Entry is just 600kes and every penny of each ticket goes directly back to the children of our orphanages. Fundraising isn’t an easy game these days, but feeding, educating and providing a safe and loving home for our children is an absolute necessity. Hence, The Sunday Fix was born to boost much needed funds for the home and to bring top quality house music afternoon in the sun to Nairobi.
Not to be missed – a good Sunday night party is a rare treat!!
