Concert: Songambele 2011 with Rocky Dawuni + Afro Simba, Mar 27 2011 @ Kenya Cultural Centre (National Theatre Ground)

March Forth Kenya Kids runs  an after school arts program in Maringo teaching youth different forms of art as a way to deter them from going down negative paths.  Annually they have a free concert event in Nairobi to celebrate the progress of their youth and give them and others confidence and motivation to keep marching forth.  It’s a family event and is FREE to the public!  The event this year is 27th March from 2pm-5pm at the Kenya Cultural Centre (National Theatre).  Rocky Dawuni, a famous Ghanaian reggae artist will be performing live with the Afro Simba band from Nairobi.  There will be kids activities, as well as a food vendor, and the youth from our non-profit program will be opening the show with a performance.
