Over the course of the past two months, Flone Initiative Women in Transport (WIT) program has been working with a dedicated group of WIT members to create a play that communicates some of the challenges, achievements, hardships and joys of women who work in Nairobi’s matatu industry.

There will be three showings of this performance at Alliance Française on Oct. 26th at 6:30 pm and 27th October at 3pm and 6pm

Proceeds from the play will go back to supporting Flone’s WIT program and the amazing women who move the city!

By hacking our connected devices in real time, the mentalist and magician, Thierry Collet, gets us thinking deeply about our day to day use of technology. A cracking interactive experience, brilliant yet troubling, half way between illusion, fiction and the reality of our connected world.

Magic becomes the tool that questions us on our rapport with the real. The spectators’ telephones are the medium for the magical effects. The public will be distributed across tables like in an open co-working hub and the magician will move from table to table.
