Life and Other Fictions – John Kimani and Clinton Kirkpatrick
John Kimani (a.k.a Silver) and Clinton Kirkpatrick are exhibiting printed works. Each artist draws inspiration from storytelling and mythology. This exhibition showcases a relationship through art from a mentor and a mentee.The two artists Silver and Clinton met in 2012. Clinton learnt woodcut printing from Silver and since that time the two artists have developed an art relationship and friendship. They have both exhibited together in the UK. The opportunity for them to exhibit together in Kenya further develops their artistic relationship and presents their work, collectively, to a wider audience.
