A hard hitting exhibition by Kenyan Cartoonists’, which illustrates their perception, mostly of the evolution of the persona of the US president, Barack Obama. This exhibition currently running at Pawa 254 covers the evolution of Obama over the years, from the pre-white house days to his first term and now his second term in office as the US president.

Animal Footprints is a visual documentation of animal adaptation and survival as interpreted by artist Moses Maaramele. The body of work makes an attempt to capture the movements of both wild and domesticated animals whilst preserving their legacy for future generations who may perhaps not get the opportunity to interact and observe the animals we do today.
Moses Maaramele is an artist from Botswana currently in residence at Kuona Trust.

Exhibition by Anne Mwiti – 1st Prize Winner, World Citizen Artists Competition
About
A Stitch in Time by Anne Ntinyari Mwiti was selected as the 2014 winning artwork by World Citizen Artists in collaboration with their partners, Playing for Change Foundation, Belgravia Gallery and Issuu Publishing (a digital publishing platform).A stitch in Time, investigates the role of individuals in mitigating peace within the global scene of wars, politics, greed and money and the sacrifice required to make the difference. The artwork was exhibited at the Belgravia Gallery in London for a month from 10th December 2014 to 12th January 2015 with other entries from around the world. Alongside were artworks by renown artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, HRH The Prince of Wales, Nelson Mandela to name a few. Anne is now a life time member of the World Citizen Artists as well as their Ambassador advocating for Peace globally through art.
The Nairobi National Museum celebrates Anne Ntinyari Mwiti and joins her in her efforts to help spread the peace message by displaying A Stitch in Time for three months in the museum galleries from 15 July to 15 September 2015. It is our hope that the pertinent messages in this painting will provide an opportunity to reflect on each of our own commitment towards a peaceful co-existence.
