by with One Comment eventsoperascreenings

Date: August 14, 2019
Venue: Alliance Française
Time: from 7 pm
Entry: Free

About
Don Juan has been portrayed as a sex addict, a champion of freedom or as a ‘great lord but wicked man’. Of all the manifestations of this myth, Mozart’s Don Giovanni seems the most timeless brilliantly combining stark human tragedy and touching comedy

In this new production, conducted by the acclaimed maestro Jérémie Rhorer, the director Jean-François Sivadier propels Don Giovanni through his lusty adventures at a whirlwind pace, pursued by those he has wronged.
