Screening: Italian Participation to the European Film Festival 2018 – “Perfetti Sconosciuti” (Perfect Strangers), May 24 2018 @ the Alchemist – Westlands

The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute are participating to the European Film Festival 2018, taking place from the 4th to the 27th May 2018 in Nairobi.
The Institute will be screening the Italian movie “Perfetti Sconosciuti” (Perfect Strangers), a brilliant and fresh picture of the contemporary society directed by Paolo Genovese and produced in 2016:
Seven long-time friends (three married couples and a divorcee) are having a dinner. They decide, as a playful game, to put each one’s mobile phone on the table and reveal every text message or phone call they would receive that evening, to prove that nobody has anything to hide. Hilarity and drama ensue together as everyone’s secrets are unveiled and the seven friends find themselves perfect strangers to each other..
Language: Italian with English subtitles
Length: 97 minutes
The movie will be screened on Thursday 24 May 2018, 9.00 pm. at The Alchemist.
