WHAT IS SONDEKA
When the calendar flips to 18th October 2014, the fun, creation, curation, innovaton, fun, games, music, dance amplify and take Nairobi by storm at the Sondeka Festival. ‘Sondeka’ is a Sheng (Kenyan urban colloquial) word meaning “to make” or “create”. And true creation will take place at the Ngong Race course from the 18thOctober, 4pm to 20th October 7pm 2014. Creative innovators from the arts, mechanics and technology field will converge and woo you with their creations. And show you just how dance, song, robots, applications, film, storytelling, photography, upcycling, fashion, animation and so much more are more than hobbies. It’s a weekend for the entire family to explore every craft create, curate, appreciate and participate till you drop.

Album Launch on the occasion of the Mombasa International Cultural Festival – Vol. 6 of the Spotlight on Kenyan Music series highlights the musical diversity from the Kenyan Coast.
