Ichyulu.com is a Nairobi based online concept store that offers select edits from African fashion and accessory designers. The Pop Up will be an opportunity for people to view pieces from the site in person and shop for Christmas gifts.

This Pop Up with also feature exclusive pieces by Kenyan designer, IAMI.

Described as one of the most important events in the artisan and design sector, Afrika Handmade will take over the Village Market food court from 3-5 November 2017, 9am – 6pm.

About
Known for its exemplary curation, Afrika Handmade showcases the best artisan and design from across the East African region, focusing exclusively on home and garden.

This year, the showcase will feature among others, top furniture brands Two by Four, Rusty Fundi, L’Équipée and Unity Makers all of whom will unveil new collections. In textiles and soft furnishings, Ziwani Weavers, Tosheka Textiles and Jambo Women from Nanyuki will bring their ‘A’ game, with their handwoven home furnishings and bed linen. Visiting ceramicists Byentaro Ceramics (Uganda) and Majorie Wallace (Zimbabwe) have sold out in previous events and we are sure this time will be no different.

In the gifting category, Malkia Interiors and Gifts from Nakuru will offer an exciting range of products including from well known home brands Mango Patch and Krafty Artz.

The popup will for the first time also see Afrika Handmade launch an exclusive collection, made specifically for the brand. These products will include tabletop woodwork and ceramics, baskets, throws, rugs and cushions made in collaboration with a local design studios.
