About
The Rhino Charge is an annual event organized to raise funds for the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust. This year the event is to be held on the 31st of May. The Rhino Charge is a Kenyan off-road event in which competitors drive between scattered check points over approximately 100 square kilometers of very rough terrain within a 10 hour period. Navigation is by compass/GPS and the winner is the competitor who visits all check points in the shortest distance (GPS measured) (www.rhinocharge.co.ke).Brandon Barbour has been involved in the Rhino Charge for 3 years with the team of Car no 53 which was placed 3rd overall in 2014. This year he is entering in Car No 57 a 1990 Suzuki rebuilt especially for this event. Together with the famous DJ Mikhail Kuzi, they organize a fundraiser beach party to sponsor the car and contribute to support the Rhino Ark on Saturday 9th Mayat Forty Thieves Beach Bar, all you have to do is come to party on the beach, pay KES 500/- at the gate. All proceeds from the gate will go to the car #57.
