Hilariously we will get to know why the best man for the job is a woman. What will Kenya be like under a woman president?

We all have arguably shouted from the rooftops that this country Kenya cannot and shall not be ruled by a woman. That there is no place at the top for a woman to hold. That is a position that is traditionally held by men and so women should forget it and take their rightful position. The second position.

Heartstrings Kenya in a ridiculously hilarious manner and their fashion will show that our president doesn’t have to be a woman. And this is because the women have become small presidents in their many positions that they have taken in our society. The way we all drink, eat, breathe, belch, talk, sleep, wake up, etc etc. is all controlled by woman. The hard fact is that whatever each and every individual Kenyan does, a woman is the one who finally decides. So if the society thinks that we don’t have a woman president, they are wrong because we have them in offices, factories, homes, and schools. They are our mothers, wives, girlfriends, concubines, secretaries, mama mbogas, house helps, etc etc.

A woman is not ruling Kenya, but a woman is surely ruling the world.

We will never look at this country in the same way again because what a man can do, a woman already did it better.

In his quest to amass wealth and more power, the Honourable MP comes face to face with the worst of fears- his world is falling apart and he’s lost control… of EVERYTHING!!! With a spoilt and overly promiscuous daughter, a wayward son who is a drunkard and hates literally everything… well almost everything, except the beer bottle, and a house maid who is in charge of all his household,he soon discovers that even his most trusted Chief Campaigner is upto something. The unfolding drama reveals a past that has come back to haunt him…. a past that proved that indeed, mess, we can.

Phoenix Players Present:
Who’s Who

Directed by George Mungai

SYNOPSIS
Who’s who? Is a farce for two men and two women in the lounges of the “Grand Machakos Hotel”, a place of faded elegance. In Act I we follow the confusion that two gentlemen land themselves in – as in – extricable as the hotel itself- in an effort to cover up their clandestine weekend: a confusion which ends in no one knowing anyone else’s identity, and a hint that, even when things have been more or less cleared up, all is likely to start over again. In Act II the male players discuss the previous events and one says that if positions and identities had been reversed the trouble would never have occurred. The situation is re-enacted on these lines, but with even more calamitous results.

SYNOPSIS
Marcus Pennington appears to have it all: a beautiful actress wife, Victoria, two loving daughters and a successful career as a respected senior lawyer. But behind the façade he is leading a triple life, romancing two other women: Dexie, a prostitute, and Millicent, the widow of his best friend, now his PA. In a series of highly engaging monologues, Victoria Dexie and Millicent tell Marcus’ story from three very different perspectives.

Preoccupied and detached, Victoria is seemingly oblivious to his indiscretions – and guilty of her own, but regards him with fond indulgence. Shy, Self deprecating Millicent can’t help but be taken in by the promise of romance and passion that was lacking in her marriage. Dexie hopes that Marcus will provide a route out of poverty – all the more necessary after she gives birth to his illegitimate son.
