About Dr. Richard Sezibera
Appointed as Secretary General of the East African Community in April 19, 2011 by the summit of the East African Community for a five-year term. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Sezibera served as Minister of Health of the Republic of Rwanda (October 2008 – April 2011).Dr. Sezibera graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He also has a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University.
Dr. Sezibera has authored in the field of politics and international affairs and has been published in many reputable journals.
