WORD UPWORD UP LIVE! takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month at Dass The Ethiopian Restaurant in Westlands.
The main purpose of the event is to give exposure and market both upcoming and established Poets, Musicians & all other forms of artistic arts. Established artists are given an opportunity to come and talk about their Video, CD launchs, their next Concerts and also mentor upcoming artists.

The four man musical jazz band led by Ricky Nanjero will be at it again this Saturday night  @ dass restaurant Westlands pride towers woodville groove as from 8:00pm till late.For all jazz fanatics, tunes from their latest album TUCHEZE and a few covers .Various Ethiopoian dishes available at affordable prices.Gate entrance 300/- ..For ticket booking call 0722228978.

Concert: Ricky na Marafiki, Aug 20 2011 @ Dass

Ricky na Marafiki band will perform on the 20th of august @ DASS restaurant,  playing tunes from their album TUCHEZE. The album comprises of different genres of Afro jazz tunes. While you are at it also enjoy some Anjera and Ethiopian coffee at an affordable price. Doors open at 9pm if you come five guys one of you gets a free ticket. Books and Blogs is all about reading, it is not a book club as such though it will feature books once in a while,
