About
Dunda Mtaani is a community festival that takes place in various communities within Nairobi. The festival has been running for five years now and has been staged in Korogocho, Kibera, Huruma, Kawangware, Buruburu, Riruta and California.

The aim of this event is to give local youth groups the opportunity to show-case their artistic talents through music, dance and acrobatics, in conjunction with some professional artists.

The GoDown presents Dunda Mtaani, a community festival that takes place in various communities within Nairobi, from the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of August 2012.

The festival has been running for five years now and it aims to give local youth groups the opportunity to show-case their artistic talents through music, dance and acrobatics, in conjunction with some professional artists.

Some of the artists who will be show-cased include Dance into Space, Lady P, Magicians Dancers, Swug Crew and Cardinal Otunga Dancers

Dunda Mtaani, kicks off this Saturday 4th August 2012 at the DC Grounds in Kibera.
The artists who will be featured include Juacali, Dance into Space, Q-Ta-Si, Shofco Youth Group, Tembekali Music, Simpo Dimpo, Felix Ameka, Danito, Chupee, Blackstar Acrobats,Wasanii Sanaa, Gold Mines Foundation and Jabe.
