Qatar Airways have flown in Chef Nishant from Dusit Deverana, New Delhi, to link up with his counterpart and resident Chef at SOI Restaurant, Chef Pairote – who specializes in Thai cuisine.

The two Chefs will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen and showcase, the best of two worlds, a menu that will feature a unique fusion of Indian and Thai cuisines.

The chocolate festival will be a first of its kind. It will run for 3 days from 12th, 13th and 14th February. There will be over 50 kinds of chocolate. Entry will be 850/- standard price per person per day even for children. There won’t be classes on the day- maybe later but people can take away a recipe. Reason for doing it was to introduce quality to the market and a chocolate experience.

Person heading this is Chef Anton Gasnier.- the Executive Chef at dusitD2 Nairobi. Chef Anton attended the Cacao-burry Academy in Dubai.

During the three days there will also be Spa and Restaurant Specials. Spa will be a chocolate treatment. Soko restaurant will have a four course menu at Ksh. 4,500pp but comes with one free entry to the chocolate festival worth Ksh. 850/-

This coming Saturday, January 30th 2016, artists from all over the country will converge at the dusitD2 Nairobi to exhibit their pieces at the Den Conference Room in an event dubbed ‘The dusitD2 Nairobi Art Gallery’.

A one of a kind event, the dusitD2 Nairobi Art Gallery encourages creative freedom and seeks to eliminate the bureaucracy system that has seen brokers, middlemen and hosts of art exhibitions gain more than the artists themselves.
