‘Faso Funky’ brings together Burkinabé and Belgian musicians around groovy funk and West African rhythms. The bassist, Achille Ouattara, whose musical origins are situated in gospel and Mandinka music, will be joined by the drummer Moise Ouattara, the guitarist Désiré Somé and the Belgian violinist and pianist Renaud Crols.
Together, they bring diverse musical influences: Indian, gypsy, African, hip-hop/dance hall, rock, gospel, jazz… offering a funky, warm and lively repertoire that will have you on your feet.
