‘Hunt’ is Saarinen’s heart-stopping solo set to Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. In this choreography, Saarinen is both the hunter and the hunted. The rhythm of the music is matched by Saarinen’s sinuous movements with his body acting as a canvas for a kaleidoscope of multi-media projections.

‘Hunt’ was commissioned by the Venice Biennale in 2002.
