Goethe-Institut Kenya is proud to present the digital exhibition Games and Politics, which is currently touring the continent. The exhibition showcases a selection of international video games – the most popular kinds of the digital revolution, including the so-called impact games, serious games and news games. It highlights the effects of globalization as well as other real-world references.The exhibition will open at 6 pm on the 10th of October at the Goethe-Institut, followed by a series of related side events:
● Friday 11th October: Game walk at 12 noon / Launch of Enter Africa: Unplugged 2121
● Wednesday 16th October: Panel Discussion: On Defiance- Art as Social Commentary
● Wednesday 23rd October: Panel Discussion – Simulating Futures
● Wednesday 23rd October: Game Development Masterclass with Nathan Masyuko (On Application)Games & Politics is presented by the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut.
