Simbin Project is an initiative of the Swiss multi-instrumentalist and producer Fred Hirschy. The strength of the project consists in bringing together the kora virtuoso, Noumoucounda, with experimental musicians, thus creating a unique mix between traditional and ultra-modern music.This one of a kind concert in Nairobi follows on from the group’s performance at the Sauti za Busara Festival in Zanzibar.
The concert will also feature Kenya’s very own Kasiva Mutua on percussions and Judith Bwire on the nyatiti.
