About
Masculinity & Femininity by cultural instinct are gender assigned: men are masculine, women are not. Masculinity is a male enamored trait, and its admiration also makes it fragile. Femininity is female, soft, needed, but weak. Our social constructs depend on an incorrect gender-binary definition, but masculine and feminine is more dual than we realise. Maybe a single person can be both masculine and feminine – a concept we will be exploring through different art forms during the next Art & Poetry

Art & Poetry: Beauty, Apr. 8 2017 @ Michael Joseph Centre

Date: April 8, 2017
Venue: Michael Joseph Centre
Time: 5-8 pm
Tickets: Advance KES 500/- available here

About
“There are people who see beauty in the strangest places. Places that do not correspond with the conventional definition of beauty. Beauty seems to be a collectively approved concept. But, we all have unique ideas about beauty and we feel this is worth exploring.

The next Art & Poetry show on April 8th at Michael Joseph Centre intends to do this through spoken word, music, art and a good time. We hope you will join us in our exploration of beauty.
