Lesleigh Kenya is pleased to announce that Belonging in Africa author Jo Alkemade is coming to Nairobi for a series of Meet the Author Events before the launch of the book on March 13.
This is where you can catch her:
February 21st: Meet the author from 2pm to 5pm at the August 7th Memorial Park at the junction of Moi Avenue and Haile Selassie Avenue.
February 28th: Meet the author from 5pm to 7pm at the PAWA 254 rooftop on State House Crescent.
March 7th: Meet the author at Silole Villa on the Silole Sanctuary from 2 pm.
Note: The best way to get to the villa is through the Masai Gate (south end of the Nairobi National Park; follow the signs). Otherwise drive down the Magadi Road on your way to Ongata Rongai, turn first left off the tarmac (signboarded to Nazarene University & Masai Lodge). Then just keep going to the end of the murram road (6 km) until you reach Masai Lodge. The turn off to Silole Villa & Silole Cottage is on the right immediately before the Masai Lodge Gate. If coming by public transport, as soon as you get off the matatu/bus there are very nice and reasonable cab drivers and bodas who can get you to Silole
