Makadem is back from global touring where he shared the stage with Seun Kuti (Son of Fela Kuti) & Egypt 80, Oliver Mtukudzi, Soweto Kinch, Baaba Maal, Mahotela Queens, Lokua Kanza, Gllen Washington and many others.

Expect: A night of powerful benga fused with vibrant afrobeat, poetry & dance

*Makadem is heading out in March for a 3 month residency program in Paris, France. This might be his last concert before leaving.

Roger’s research work in music and technology has earned him three patents.

This Thursday 8th December 2011, at the Michael Joseph Centre on Waiyaki way starting from  7pm.  The Art of Music (Classical Evenings club)  will be
hosting Gifted Hands in conjunction with  Glory Voices for an evening of music of the season. It will be a  wonderful mix of  solos, duets, ensemble
works as well as uplifting music sang by the renown choral group, Glory Voices.

On December 14th  at the Michael Joseph Center from 6pm The Marafiki band led by Ricky Nanjero Will host an evening of live afro jazz music  mostly playing renditions from their album ‘TUCHEZE’.The main cause of the concert is to raise funding to enable Ricky to travel to the U.S.A with an aim of seeking further education in his music at the Berklee school of music in Boston .

Also featuring that night will be the lovely songbird Atemi Oyungu and East Africa’s most renowned keyboard player Aaron Krucial Rimbui backed by the marafiki band.
