Award winning Kenyan Actresses Brenda Wairimu (Mali, Disconnect) and Makmzee Mwatela (Mali – NTV), stars in SARAFINA musical directed by Stuart Nash who is an artistic director at the Kenya National Theatre. The musical is set to take place in July 20th – 22nd.

The show is based on the original film written in 1992 which tells the story of a young black student struggling to fight apartheid in South Africa. The film is centered on students involved in the Soweto riots, opposing the use of Afrikaans as the language of instruction in schools.

Other co- stars are Patrick Oketch (Mother-In-Law), Hellen Mtawali (Tusker Project Fame) and Music star, Gilad.
