Aziza is made of a group of three young gentlemen in their early 20’s. Sequiera Mogere, Maurice Manani and Enos Olik. The name ‘Aziza’ is derived from a giriama word meaning wonderful. It was given to them after performing at an event for a giriama lady, who after the event approached the boys and told them that their music was ‘Aziza’, meaning it was wonderful. they have featured in breakfast shows in most of the leading T.V and radio stations. In documentaries, they have been featured in T.V France of Kenya and the Patricia show which have an international audience just to name but a few. They have shared stages with great artist from Kenya namely. Suzanna Owiyo, Chris Adwar, Eric Wanaina, Sauti sol, Sarah Mitaru, Dela,Mafikizolo from south africa, Elani and Monique . Their debut album is entitled Mwenye Ndoto.

24th August. Doors open at 8.00pm and the open mic runs at 9-11pm.
There will be an Afro-groove after-party courtesy of the Urban Flava DJ’s.

Dunda Mtaani is a community festival that takes place in various communities within Nairobi. The festival has been running for five years now and has been staged in Korogocho, Kibera, Huruma, Kawangware, Buruburu, Riruta and California.
The aim of this event is to give local youth groups the opportunity to show-case their artistic talents through music, dance and acrobatics, in conjunction with some professional artists.
