About
During this month of March the Nairobi National Museum displays a selection of art works in celebration of women. The museum will also pay homage to Prof. Wangari Maathai (1 April 1940 – 25 September 2011) by hosting a special gala at the museum in her honor.

Maathai was a renowned Kenyan environmental and political activist, and the Nobel Peace Prize winner 2004.

The gala will be graced by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.

Attendance to the gala is by invitation only

Richard was brought up in Kenya and has more than 40 years of capital markets experience. He was the CEO Wichford Property Management Ltd, building $1 billion Funds Under Management (FUM) between 2003 and 2007, entirely focused on government occupiers in the UK and Europe. The company successfully listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in 2006.

Richard is also the founder of Laird Finance Group, a property structured finance placement house. He speaks fluent Swahili.

On the occasion of the World Storytelling Day, the Embassy of Spain in Nairobi is pleased to invite you to A Magical Day of Storytelling Where Nairobi’s finest storytellers, writers and artists will be joining hands to celebrate and to create a magical day of stories.

The one-day Programme will include:
