It’s Nairobi Pizza Festival 2016 and we’re delighted to host a PIZZA DISCO at this Art@theBUS: The Culture of Pizza. Come have authentic Napolitan pizza at Upendo Pizza (get 2 pizzas, for 1). We will be rocking some good old disco, funk, soul and R&B tunes the whole 3 days!!

Friday night, DJ Ol Mac Terry and DJ Sami Flinch will be happy to have you all on their side swinging to the likes of Diana Summer and 2Pac. Entrance is just 1000 bob and we kick off at 9 pm!

Saturday, we’re having the legendary DJ K1 take us into a whole evening of musical familiarity. If you grew up in the 90s but have a 70’s soul, then this night is for you too!! Free entrance and yes, we kick off at 9pm as well.

As for Sunday, 12 pm-6 pm, we got an open stage and the Westlands Organic Market bringing you pizza ingredients as well as their artisan and organic products.

The second discussion will bring together panelist from key segments of the industry to explore the commercial potential of Kenyan music, realities, challenges, opportunities and industry’s contribution to the Kenyan economy.
