About
Under the theme Histories, Stories, Worlds and Words the Macondo Literary Festival will bring together, for the first time on the continent, writers from the Portuguese and English speaking Africa for conversations, debates, readings on African histories featured in their fictional and non-fictional works.

The event will also present workshops on writing, translating, filming history and history for radio as well as musical and dance performances, storytelling and film.

Among the festival, guests are Novuyo Rosa Tshuma (Zimbabwe), Abubakar Adam Ibrahim (Nigeria) and Ondjaki (Angola).
