About
Music is a universal language it resonates through generations and survives decades and centuries in history. It is one of the elements that can survive through wars, times and political regimes and for that matter, a powerful tool of communication. It is with this foundation that we present Desturi Festival, a collage of local artistry, talent and culture represented through the art of music.

Highlighting the renowned artist Abbih Nguma, who is a passionate, patriotic musical artist best known for vibrant and soulful tunes of urban Rhumba. Better known as, Le Prince de la Rhumba. Desturi Festival seeks to strengthen the family unit through music and fun activities.

The objective is to conduct a one day event to be held every once every two months. The event will feature a live band performance from Abbih Nguma and the band, other performing artists and DJ entertainment and fun activities and games for the young ones.

The only way we can preserve our Kenyan culture and beliefs is if everybody plays the part by embracing the powerful tools a music and art. We invite you to be part of Desturi Festival in the belief that you are the perfect and most suitable partner to execute this wonderful event.
DESTURI NAIROBI….Kama Kawaida Tu.
