The workshop shall run through three intense sessions and will be instructed by artist in residence Josefina Muñoz. Participants will be taken through different alternatives to present a portfolio, resume, cover letter and artist statement. With these elements we will then revise how to apply for grants, scholarships, shows, and international artist in residence programs.
A list of online resources will be given for further research, along with relevant samples for reference. Each student will be requested to find and prepare a real ongoing submission thereafter. Through group evaluation we will discuss the proposals and refine them for final submission.
