As we usually do in December, we’ll be holding the market over 2 days Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th December with over 50 vendors and unique vendors featured on each day.

Find the best locally hand-made goods from East Africa’s top designers & makers on Saturday & Sunday, December 18 & 19th from 10am to 6pm at the beautiful Ngong Road Forest – Section 1, next to Miotoni, Karen.

Our market is kid-friendly, free to the public and will adhere to the Ministry of Health regulations and guidelines. It will be outdoors, maintain safe physical-distance, have hand sanitizer, wash stations and monitored capacity.

African traditions from the West to East and the diaspora have female deities who embody unique traits. These deities or goddesses represent various aspects and possibilities of feminine being, and of nature.

In this 15 week dance series we will explore the traits represented by African goddesses and reflect on how we embody these ourselves. Through dance, song, reflective practices and improvisation we will come to know and more fully inhabit our own divine feminine.

Date and time: Saturday 9.30 – 11 am starting January 19th 2019
Venue: Bric a Brac gallery, Karen
Full series cost: 12,000.
First session is open as a taster for 1,000 KES.

Mutahi is an Architect cum Photographer based in Nairobi and is always on the lookout for opportunities to travel, appreciate and document the countless gems in and around the city.
His area of focus is the “out there” spaces – Cityscapes, Landscapes, and of course, Architecture.

Muhanji is an artist, creative director & illustrator based in Nairobi, Kenya.
He uses his art to create visual impressions and give out raw emotion. From time to time, he does Artivism which is Art that is driving a certain agenda ” activism. “
