A new star is born, The Songwriter’s Lounge… A place where lyricism is brought to life in song.
Too often the art and skill of lyric writing and developing the written piece into a song has been under valued. The songwriters lounge has come to change all that and to provide an opportunity for musicians who are writers and non-musicians who are enthusiasts to come together and share beautiful moments in a small intimate setting ( 70 pax gig).
This first edition features Singer – Songwriter ANDREW WAMBUA born and raised in Nairobi Kenya. Wambua started his own band, Afrology, in 2008 and has since graced various stages such as Nairobi’s premier event Blankets & Wine, Thursday Night Live at Choices, Penya Nairobi Panda Sauti among others.
He released his first single “Nipe Pendo” mid last year (Get a free mp3 of the single here) and is currently half-way into the recording of his debut album Dreams Come True
