“We hope to see many of you near and far at our first meaningful beginning in Kenya!” Mtree
African Dance in the Park, Jun. 1 2019 @ Nairobi Arboretum Park

Move, reconnect, reground, build community, rethink money and value, and have fun this Madaraka Day with a PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE (PWYD) African dance class at the Nairobi Arboretum. Live drumming, and dance with Wangũi.
Pay what you decide? Yes, pay what you decide. The capitalist economy runs on upside down (and oppressive) allocations of what is valuable and what is not – and many times ignores and puts down the truly valuable things in life. So this PWYD class asks you to decide how much value you ascribe to moving, dancing, and reconnecting with culture, your body, and others. Madaraka means self-rule. What will you do with the freedom to think and hopefully rethink what has value?
Bottom line – come dance and enjoy yourself.
Where: Nairobi Arboretum Park
When: 1st June 2019. 11 am – 1 pm
Cost: Pay What You Decide (PWYD)
Note that the Arboretum charges a 50/= entrance fee payable by MPESA only
