This promises to be a real treat for art lovers. Ehoodi Kichapi‘s work with mixed media is quite unique in the Kenyan art community. Some of you might have come across him before, under the name Jes’se Ng’an’ga. The gallery hosting the exhibit is simply wonderful, out of a fairy tale: a well-kept secret, 5 minute drive from the Village Market. We will not miss this opening, and you shouldn’t either!

It’s shocking to me that a gallery would show work that is pure and simple art plagiarism. Perhaps the artist can explain his pieces and the inspiration behind them. #SMH
