September 14th at 7pm Zakale Za presents Kwa Uno at Kenya National Theatre. It is a post-modern contemporary dance with flamenco music of the Spanish origin.
The show will feature artistes like The house of Mumbi, Fred Omondi as the Mc among others….
About the group: Zakale za have in the past performed internationally in Sweden, Holland, Spain.
Locally they have performed at Braeburn, Oshwal, The Kenya National Theatre and have done several exchange programs at the UN, Spanish embassy, Italian embassy among other.
They are targeting the promotion of dance music locally because they feel the need for local appreciation, much more complicated than achieving visibility in Europe.

I would like to win tickets to the dance becouse i have never seen any dance live and would like to take my sister with me because she likes dancing and it might be an inspiration to her.
I would like to have an opportunity to attend the event and have a taste of life dance performance. I love arts in every sense and it will an exposure to me and learn more about the dance. i would bring along my friend who loves arts too. thanks
Contemporary dance is a rare find in Nairobi; a sad affair as i thought we are a melting pot of culture. My last treasured find of this kind of dance was 5 years ago, perhaps kwa uno will bring me to a space of creative movement once again?
I am looking for something special to do on my birthday. I would appreciate the opportunity, as it will not only make my birthday special but also motivate me to pursue my dreams of becoming part of a great artistic group someday.
And the winner is Marie – happy birthday from Nairobi Now! Details via email
I am truly humbled. Thanks so much. How will I get the tickets?
