The National Youth Orchestra of Kenya invites new applications for cello and percussion players from young musicians aged 14 to 23. The preferred candidates must demonstrate commitment to ensemble music and leadership potential. Closing date for receipt of applications is 12 noon on Monday 17th June 2013. Selected Applicants may be called to audition at Peponi House Preparatory School(Farasi Lane, Off Lower Kabete Rd) in Nairobi on 22nd June 2013 and may be admitted to KNYO on a trial basis in the next training course (8th to 14th July 2013). Previous applicants are allowed to re-apply if they had previously applied and auditioned before December 2012.
