Nairobi in Pictures: Political Icons 1889-2000 by Lydia W. Muthuma provides a historical and aesthetic analysis of the civic buildings in Nairobi.
The book combines architectural history with ever vibrant political debates. And providing a critical glance at the city’s built environment, it goes beyond the surface image to probe into the style and substance of life within Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD).
